.......they came in the rain, by bus by train, in planes From Bunbury and the west coast with voices deep etched grains and lives soaked in twelve bar blues,
down from far north and rainforest range,
steel guitars, slides and double basses lyrics streaming inside heatland blues,
musos trod the ampitheatres and bars playing Australias best blues, vocalist of the year, Gail Page hot from the basement, Matt Gresham, and the John Meyer Band, the Blues Preachers and Angel of Death,
Parris Mcleod did cloud studios proud, producer of the year twice in a row, and the sounds echoed through Goulburn late and loud.
Phil Mosies Journo's Awards now etched on brass in wood and the question on every-ones lips where's the tatts tent this year..will it be as good?
It poured with rain, and inside was the better venue so although the tent was missed, they packed out eveywhere and hot rock steaks were the best thing on the menu.
See you all next year, this is building to one of Australias Iconic Festivals, so plan your visit, organise well and come enjoy next year, say hello to Richard and Tania at the Tatts Hotel, spend time with the street Buskers and remember during the second weekend in Febuary each year.
