And, it’s rumoured father Christmas will pass to leave his mark
The twilights breaking sunrise, beams from locals hearts
A world long past, moved from ancestral horse and cart
And other travelled communities remembered to Roundhouse Park

The rotary of Devonport, opposite the shipping line.
they’ve served happily, those gathered ‘tween seven and nine
They have served a fine breakfast, of kindness and sunshine
